Beneficial Uses


Beneficial water use:

Beneficial water use is defined as the use of groundwater or surface water for the purpose of providing a benefit (e.g., domestic, municipal, or agricultural use; mining; stock watering; recreation; wildlife habitat; and power generation).

Blue-green algae: One form of algae  properly called Cyanobacteria.
